Belgian Jasper Philipsen (Alpecin-Deceuninck) beats his compatriot Wout van Aert (Team Jumbo-Visma) in a close final to win the 15th stage (Rodez to Carcassonne, 202.5 km) of the Tour de France 2022, Sunday 17 July. Dane Mads Pedersen (Trek–Segafredo) finished third. Fellow Dane Jonas Vingaard of the Jumbo-Visma team retained the yellow jersey despite being involved in an accident, in which the 25-year-old landed heavily on his head. Monday will be a rest day in Carcassonne. The action resumed on Tuesday with stage 16, from Carcassonne to Foix, and will cover 178.5 km.
