Liv Racing has announced the signing of two young talents Quinty Ton and Tereza Neumanova until 2023. Ton, 23 and from the Netherlands, joins the GT team Krush Tunap, and Neumanova, 23 and from the Czech Republic, joins the Burgos Alimenta women’s cycling team.
Ton won the award for the most combative rider at the Amstel Gold Race Ladies Edition after being part of a first two-rider breakaway with Kathrin Hammes (Ceratizit WNT).
After recovering from a broken collarbone in the spring, Ton finished seventh overall in the Belgrade GP Woman Tour and placed second in stage 1 of the Baloise Belgium Tour. She closed the season with a top 10 at Binche Chimay Binche pour Dames in October.
“In my current team, I have grown over the past three years. Especially last season, I took a step forward. The beautiful Amstel Gold Race, of which I was the most combative rider, opened my eyes. I succeeded by choosing the attack, in this race I surprised myself in a positive way. Unfortunately for me, I broke my collarbone shortly after. Just after I got back on my bike, during an internship in Spain, Liv Racing contacted me. I was honored that a WorldTeam was interested in me. It made me very motivated to retaliate quickly, ”Ton said.

In addition to Ton, Liv Racing has also announced new recruits; The National Champion of Czech Republic Neumanova with Rachele Barbieri, Eva Buurman, Katia Ragusa and Amber van der Hulst. Giorgia Bronzini has also been announced as the team’s new athletic director in 2022, while reigning sponsor Liv is on board for three more seasons.
Neumanova had an exceptional season winning the national championship title, 11th in the Navarra Women’s Elite Classics, second in stage 2 of the Tour de Suisse and ninth in stage 1 of the Women’s WorldTour Vuelta in Burgos.
